This February, the FU academy was pleased to welcome two new groups of Turkish Hospitality & Tourism and Business students.
Both groups attended a Spanish preparation course at the school where they learned the basics for communicating in their internships.
The business group were provided with a specific internship programme for Social Media Marketing (SMM).
In this time, they succeeded in implementing some of the strategies they had learnt in class in local Canarian businesses.
The tourism group gained valuable ´hands on experience´ with various hospitality placements within the Puerto De La Cruz area.
They were also given a wide range of trips, including a excursion to ´Casa del vino´ – An active winemaking vineyard and somewhere of cultural importance.
