Something the Hospitality students have found particularly enjoyable as a group has been the non-curricular activities. At the start of the project, they were invited to a crash course lesson on Canarian cuisine. -This was very much a ´hands on exercise´, they were instructed by an experienced Spanish chef on how to prepare, cook and present various dishes, including Tapas.
In this, the class were able to try much of the local delicacies and take with them a greater knowledge of the traditional dishes served here in the hotel industry.
