Erasmus+
Tadej is a 19-year-old Slovenian, who is an out-of-the box thinker and someone who loves challenges, teamwork and creative tasks. Despite his youthful age, he has already gained experience in a couple of areas, such as photography, technology and international exchange programmes. He was one of the privileged participants, who had the opportunity to spend two weeks on the Canary Islands, through financing by Erasmus+ funds, to learn about and practice online marketing.
The Economic High School of Celje has a collaborative partnership with our academy where they bring small groups to Tenerife every year to fulfill their internship in digital marketing. Tadej was very thankful after completing his internship during which time he had the chance to find out more about the international opportunities, learned about how to deal with the newest online tools, while having fun and building closer relationships with his colleagues.

“We have dealt with the topic of online marketing and marketing in general. We had a lot of educational seminars and group workshops that I enjoyed a lot. Work was distributed throughout the day from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. in the afternoon.
We were using a lot of different tools, the most useful of which proved to be Google Tools, since without it we wouldn’t have been able to do our work nearly as efficiently as we did. We also divided our attention among WordPress, Canva, etc. WordPress has proven to be a really simple and easy platform to build our website on. The most interesting thing for me was to see the bonds that were created between us (students) and our teachers within these 14 days.
I think we really hit it off. We worked better and better with each new day. When I was listening to seminars, I discovered a lot of opportunities that are available to the youth nowadays. Before, I didn’t realize how many different opportunities were out there for us. I might just dive into one of the ideas that I got during one of the seminars, but for now, let’s keep it a secret.
I’m really grateful for the experiences and knowledge that I gained. If there wasn’t Erasmus+, this would not be even be remotely possible for me. The program really helps to expand our horizons and offer us students quality time spent abroad combined with education and having fun at the same time.”
