Before I travelled to Tenerife I didn’t know what to expect. It was an adventure for me. I would like to share my experiences in the language course and the Online-Marketing internship here in Tenerife with you. First of all I have to add that I took part in an internship of Online Marketing for four weeks which included one week of language course in Spanish. Moreover I will tell you some words about the free time activities as well.
Taking part in the Spanish course…
I liked the Spanish language classes very much. In the course B1.2 I learnt many new vocabularies and tenses. Furthermore during the lessons we spoke only Spanish, so I could really improve my language skills. Speaking a new language is the best way to strengthen your knowledge. I was required to follow our Spanish teacher’s instructions, but I regard that as positive. Only if you are challenged, you will learn something useful for your future. In addition we all got a certificate for taking part in the language course.
My impressions of the internship…
Also the Online-Marketing internship I will keep positive in my mind. In the seminars we gained a lot of theoretical knowledge. Our main topics were SEO, Google Analytics and Google AdWords. After the seminars we put our gained knowledge into practice. Mostly we wrote articles about different topics. The articles were published after the proofread and feedbacks of our trainers. The most important thing I learnt in relation to the articles was, that you have to put yourself into the shoes of the customer or the reader. You must think of what they search for and what would they like to read. For me everything was new. I had no previous knowledge in Online-Marketing, therefore the seminars were very informative for me. All articles had to be written in English, so I could improve my English language skills as well.
Free-time…
The highlight of the free time activities was paragliding. I will never forget the view and the impressions from a height of around 1000 meters. Also the Siam Park was an awesome experience. I really liked the water slides, especially the free-fall slide. Moreover the Loro Park and its animal shows were fascinating. Last but not least you should not forget about the amazing beaches here in Tenerife. I spent a lot of time there.
In conclusion it is difficult for me to find any negative aspect about my four weeks stay.
