Tee-off on Tenerife – Golf students Improving Their Handicap in the Sun of the Canary Islands

Golf students from The Bristol Academy of Sports – South Gloucestershire and Stroud College are already here! Welcome!

Our group of 6 golfers arrived safely on Tenerife one week ago; during that time they have already spent some exciting days at our school learning Spanish with our beautiful teacher Yaiza (they all agreed with the fact that she’s very good looking).
They also have joined different activities such as salsa and flamenco lessons and realized an amazing visit to the extinct volcano Teide guided by our friend Marnix.

After coming to FU International Academy Tenerife it’s now time to start their work experience. Abama Golf, Golf del Sur and Golf las Américas are the hosting companies and we hope both the students and the companies really will enjoy their experiences.

It’s time for them to feel how it is like to work during the 18 days of their stay.

Abama Resort is also organising the “Pro-am 2014”; that is giving them a unique chance to gain experience within the organisation of a tournament.  Isn’t it amazing?

Today is the day when the students start with their working practice accompanied by their tutors and FU Project Coordinators.

So it’s time for the tee-off and we hope they’ll enjoy the experience!!!
