How can four weeks go quickly? By taking an intensive Spanish for Tourism course at the FU International Academy in Tenerife! We hope they all feel well prepared to start work next Monday as chefs, waiters and barmen, at various hotel in the Canary Islands: La Gomera, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.
There is no doubt they have enjoyed a prolonged summer here in Tenerife and while studying they have also taken advantage of the various activities on offer: salsa and flamenco dance, surfing, volleyball and culture lessons.
The hotels will provide them with accommodation, meals and pocket money to keep them going over the next four months. We hope their Spanish and professional skills will improve over this time and they will end up with a great reference from the hotel and a very valuable “Internship abroad” addition to their CV.
We wish them well on their travels but we will keep in touch with them till they go back home next February.
