Recently, 27 boxers and rugby players spent two weeks in Tenerife as part of an internship program, teaching children about sport and the importance of physical activity. The group consisted of both rugby and boxing athletes, all of whom were eager to share their love of sport with the next generation.
During their time in Tenerife, the boxers and rugby players spent their working time at primary schools, where they taught children the fundamentals of their respective sports, as well as the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
The children were thrilled to learn from the experienced athletes, and many of them were inspired to continue playing and training in their chosen sport. The boxers and rugby players were equally inspired by the enthusiasm and determination of the children.
Overall, the two-week internship was a huge success, and both the boxers and rugby players and the children learned a great deal from the experience. It was a unique opportunity for everyone involved, and one that will be remembered for years to come.
