Hello! My name is Lara.
I come from Slovenia. I’m 17 years old. I go to high school for media technicians. I joined FU Academy because I wanted to gain experience, improve my curriculum and, above all, see the beautiful island of Tenerife. I think the day I joined the project really changed everything.
The Erasmus + project in Tenerife was probably the best thing that could happen, not only because I learned a lot of new things, but also because I discovered that I might be interested in digital marketing and felt very good when I wrote articles.
The trainers Orsi, Lisa, Pablo and Frank made it look so easy, but at the same time they taught us everything we need to know. They were a very kind and they helped us a lot.
Lisa greeted us at the hotel as soon as we got off the bus. We all got along really well, especially with Orsi, she was basically one of us because we spent every day together. Pablo was also very funny and I liked his sense of humor.
Everything here inspired me, the things I saw, the things I learned, … Not only the Academy, but Puerto de la Cruz in general made me feel at home and wandering the streets of Puerto at night was amazing.
The locals were very polite and talkative and enjoyed meeting new people. Also the trips to Loro Park, Siam Park and El Teide were just- WOW!
The experience really gave me motivation for the future, to go study abroad, to try new things and to succeed. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life and I am sure it will help me in my career.
I really hope to return soon to Puerto, at least for the holidays.
