Hi there! I’m María. I see myself as a catalyst for change, raising awareness about our inner potential for transformation. I adopt a systemic approach to understanding situations and processes. My goal is to provide insights for improving well-being, communication, and emotional and conflict management. In my workshops, I blend a range of psychological tools, including mindfulness, emotional regulation, personality mapping, gestalt, art therapy, meditation, movement exercises, music therapy, and breathwork. I’m passionate about exploring the synergy between body, mind, and heart.
Here’s a glimpse into my background, which has shaped who I am today. I hold qualifications as a translator, boasting two teaching master’s degrees, and I’ve accumulated thirteen years of valuable experience in this field. My teaching journey has spanned across various levels worldwide, ranging from primary education to adult learning, in both public and private institutions. Additionally, I’ve cultivated skills in dance and acting, and I am certified as a dance and movement therapist as well as a theatre therapist. While I hold a deep passion for teaching, dance, and theatre, what truly captivates me is the intricate world of human nature and interpersonal dynamics. This fascination has evolved into my paramount devotion.
Consequently, my insatiable curiosity drives me to continuously learn and delve into the enigmas of human relationships within society. Following a midlife crisis that prompted a profound transformation and reevaluation of my life, I now perceive existence from an entirely fresh vantage point. My current focus centers around psychology, self-awareness, and personal growth, and I’m eager to share my experiences with you. Are you prepared?
