Initiative: taking the initiative is key to succeed in any area of your life. If you don’t take the step, who’s gonna take it for you? Encouraging your students to take the initiative in class will definitely serve them well in their future.

Collaboration: team work is dream work, right? Teaching your students how to collaborate early on will teach them not only how to manage tasks and work with others, but also it will teach them a good deal about trust, responsibility and being open to rely on others.

Creative thinking: what would the world be without creativity? A dull, boring place for sure. The older we get, the more we tend to dim our inner child’s creativity. Letting it free from time to time can have an extremely positive impact on your teaching and daily life.
